Who are we ?
The Centre Ici et Maintenant was launched in Rose Hill in March 2010, with founders Danielle Merle and Christiane Valery.
Former students of the Person-Centered psychotherapeutic approach (of Carl Rogers), they were trained by the Institute of Training and Research for the Development of the Person (France) in 2004. After 10 years of study and research, Danielle and Christiane, holders of the European Certificate of Psychotherapy, created the center.
In July 2014, the Ici et Maintenant center moved to Belle Etoile Coromandel where they work with clients such as individuals, couples and families. The Center is named “Ici et Maintenant” (Here and Now) which is one of the two main principles of therapy.
It is the first French-speaking professional training center for Person-Centered Approach psychotherapy in Mauritius and the Indian Ocean.
This approach is a powerful response to the malaise of our time. Well-being is now a personal priority.
When moral fatigue and psychological suffering get in the way, you have to know that there is a place where everything can be said. The center becomes this space where we have the right to express what is going wrong, not to stay there, but to connect to what we have most precious - our autonomy, the free disposal of our resources and our capacity to continue his quest for happiness.
