PCA training at the Centre Ici & Maintenant
The Person-Centered Approach
PCA training is about learning to listen to and support people. It's an art form that enables people to discover themselves and change their perception by relying on their own truth and skills to find their path to growth despite external adversity.

This professional training is recognised by the MQA, AFPACP and AHPC.

Phase One: The emphasis is on Self-Discovery.
When one understands who one is and can reflect on one's own experiences, he or she feels less troubled. They tend towards more authenticity and develop the ability to put themselves in other people's shoes. This personal evolution helps you to better integrate the tools of the Person Centred Approach (PCA).

Phase two: Deepening the principles and techniques of PCA.
The practical workshops take up half of the course. The practical exercises, known as listening labs, are supervised and analysed by facilitators who provide on-the-spot feedback while linking them to theories. We also study the theory of personality development and the dynamics of both normal and abnormal behaviour. Trainees are also exposed to various recordings and supervisions of Carl Rogers in his clinical practice.
